Deputy Registrar

The Registry is a functional arm of the Central Administration Department. Its primary function is to provide administrative support service for the entire operations of the Polytechnic. This function includes recruitment and staff welfare, admission of students and their welfare, their examinations, records and verification.

The Registry also serves the Governing Council and all its committees as well as the Academic Board and its committees; it keeps custody of all official record of the Polytechnic including records of individual staff and students.

Education

The functions of the Registry are carried out in the following division: The work of the college registry shall be co-ordinate and directed by the registrar who shall be responsible to the Rector for the general administration of the college. The registry shall serve as secretary to council, sensate and act as the chief record officer of the institution as well as maintain an effective communication with the outside world. The Registrar should be a top and seasoned administrator who can assist the chief executive in the achievement of the overall goals and objectives of the institution.
